A little bit of a further drive up the 15, past Brian Head in Beaver you will find Eagle Point. To quote our shop manager, Nick, Eagle Point is a hidden gem with its small crowds and relatively inexpensive lift tickets.

Brian Head
Just under three and half hours from Vegas, the resort is big, there are plenty of places to stay and fun times to be had. They have two mountains – Navajo and Giant steps – both offers something for every skill level. Also check out Cedar Breaks.

Flagstaff
Flagstaff is just four hours outside of Las Vegas in Arizona. Just above the mountain town of is Snowbowl Ski Resort. When you are done on the mountain, make sure to get a beer in town.

Mammoth Lake
Clocking in at five and half hours from Vegas, Mammoth is the farthest away, but worth the drive. Probably one the most well-known resorts near us, Mammoth is a big resort with a lot to do.

Ice Climbing
Yes, there is ice climbing near Vegas at Mt. Charleston. With fun names like The Hose Monster, there are various routes available depending on the season. Ice Climbing is very technical – make sure you have the skills and knowledge before tackling a climb.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is also a thing on the mountain. Essentially hiking in the snow, snowshoeing is a good entry level activity for the whole family.
Sledding
Sledding is a classic for a reason. Mt. Charleston is a great quick getaway to play in the snow with the family.
